The proposed increases have been set out on our website and the information can be found on the Proposed Planning Fees webpage.
1APP – Winchester ‘goes live’
Winchester City Council went ‘live’ with 1APP, the national standard planning application form, on 25th February 2008. Since this date all applications have been validated against the national and local requirements, as set out by government in their document The Validation of Planning Applications - Guidance for local planning authorities, and in Circular 02/2008. The changes to the GDPO introducing 1APP which was laid in March and can be accessed on the OPSI website.
The new 1APP planning applications forms, and associated local requirement checklists, are available to download from our website. Alternatively, on-line applications can be made via the Planning Portal, but please make sure that you familiarise yourself with Winchester’s local requirements for validation, as this information is not available currently on the Planning Portal. PLEASE NOTE: We will still accept applications on our own forms as well as the 1APP Standard Application Form up to 6th May 2008. This is to assist applicants who are nearly ready to apply around the date of change over to the Standard Application Form. After 6th May we will refuse to validate applications which are not submitted on the Standard Application Form.
